Since I have no idea if anyone else has read very far I'll be vague...at first I thought it was overly-descriptive. I kept thinking, "Get on with the story already!" but by the end of chapter 2/beginning of 3 I was much more into it. Either I've found the flow of the book or things really are starting to pick up.
