I voted for "love 'em the way they are."
Generally, the only time my hair looks really truly awful is when it is in the
of drying. When it's wet, and once it's fully dry, it's good. Not always great, but hey, that's curly hair.
I haven't tried it (yet), but a lot of curlies swear by using a tiny bit of honey in their hair when it's wet, to combat frizz and enhance curls.
Also, be careful not to touch your hair too much while it's drying, as that can cause frizz. Using a t-shirt to blot dry, instead of a terrycloth towel, can help with frizz too.
Changed because the "number in place of a word" thing was bugging my no-longer-14-year-old self.
