Not over 40, but I just wanted to chime to remind you to keep your head up and not to get discouraged.

I recently went through the apply/interview/nothing happens process. It's very frustrating. It's a tough market right now. I finally got something, but it was more of being in the right place at the right time kind of thing, and it all happened because a friend was looking out.

And that just reaffirms what I'd been hearing all along: NETWORK! Cause it isn't about what you know...it's about who you know. Enlist the help of friends, and don't be afraid to take a chance doing something in an unconventional way.
