I agree that it looks great

-- but I can understand your frustration. It does look like the curls are looser than your avatar pic. It looks like she cut some curls on the curl

and it's making them less curly. But although it's not as spirally, it does look nice!

Maybe it will spiral more as it grows, and it will still look good as it grows out.
