I have never been to the caribbean but my family is from the Grand Cayman. I have heard it is a very beautiful place, but also very expensive. Just an fyi. Not sure if that is a factor (being broke it would be for me). It is also a more laid back destination, so it depends on what you are looking for out of your vacation.
