Got my chia seeds from SusieQ yesterday. She enclosed some very informative literature. They are a rich source of Omega 3 and 6. If ingested, the gel is supposed to be a dietary aide--not only the Omega oils, but it helps you utilize carbs better (blood sugar) and keeps you full longer.
I put some in a muslin tea bag and added water from Instahot according to the recommended ratio. Am letting it step. The gel is supposed to keep in the refrigerator for two weeks. Even if this doesn't work in my hair, I'm going to definitely try it as a dietary supplement!
