if you do decide to do the curly girl routine (no poo, low poo - no sulfates and no cones) you might find out that your hair is curlier. that happens often as curly hair is dry, and the more moisture it has, the curlier it gets. but as others have said, it does take a little time, depending on the condition of your hair.
it is important to read more before you start. ie, you need to wash with your regular sulfate shampoo to get rid of the cones from your conditioners, then go on to sulfate-free, cone-free shampoos and conditioners.
