Thank you for this, SW. It drives me crazy when a new wavy comes on the board and everyone tells her she needs "mod CG for wavies" when really, what works for her hair is going to have more to do with texture, porosity, and I guess level of scalp-oiliness too.

It'd be interesting to know what products work for what textures and why. I've heard that proteins are supposed to be great for fine hair, but mine absolutely hates them.
