A lot of people buy from Chagrin Valley and like them. My hair just HATED the one I tried. It was so bad, I gave what I had away. I think it was the castor oil. If I hadn't used bars with success prior to that, I would never have used another. Luckily, I've found other bars to use--and my hair has never been better. I attribute a lot of my hair's improvement to natural soap bars.

What do you use for soap bars, if you don't mind my asking? I tried some of the Chagrin Valley and liked them for my body but my hair did feel coated after using them, and I imagine it was the castor oil also.
You and I have similar hair although your curl pattern is more regular than mine but since I cut all my curls off and restarted, my pattern is stronger than it was.
