Extra Moisturizing homemade leave in help

Hi, I have a question for you because I decided to start using home made products cuz these bought are too expensive or just does nothing:/ So I bought some aloe vera, keratin, urea, jojoba oil, witamins, veg glicerin, panthenol and I've tried to do something extra moisturizing but total failure..:/ my hair after it were greasy and totally not curly...
So can you reccomend me some recipe for extra moisturizing leave-in for second day hair of for moisturizing after using keratin?

There are a few recipes in the recipes for hair and body section that may help. You may also be coming across issues with the keratin.

I have been having a lot of good hair days using flax seed gel and pure aloe vera (strained to get all the pulp out). My hair feels so soft and light and there is no residue, I have heard good things about adding Marshmallow root as well but I haven't tried that yet. I have tried flax gel alone and it was too strong and aloe v alone was too light but half and half proved perfect for me. Hope that helps

There's an interesting recipe for LI here that uses coconut milk. It might give you some ideas.

I just started using the real stuff so there may be an easier way but.. I buy the huge aloe leaf in the supermarket peel it...put all the pulp and goop in the blender/food processor blend it till its smooth...then strain it I usually cut up a old pantyhose to strain ...it definitely has a lot of pulp so I sometimes strain it twice....then I add the strained aloe gel to the flax seed gel 50:50 and thats it..I store it in the fridge, it lasts me about a week. It is messy and time consuming but its really moisturizing. I have used the blended aloe alone as deep conditioner with awesome results as well.
