Hey everyone.
I really hope that you can help me.
I used to have hair that was about three inches past my shoulders and was naturally curly (3B) I never used to condition it because it is prone to getting greasy.
I straightened my hair EVERYDAY for about 5 years, however when I had a shower it would always go back to naturally curly (including if I slept on it etc.)
About one and a half years ago I had my hair cut into a long bob and still straightened it and would curl it with straighteners and it would stay in my hair.
About six months ago I decided it would be so much easier for me to just leave my hair natural and plus I really miss my curly hair so I did what I used to do, (washed it and either put it up in a bun damp or left it in a bun during the day) but it wouldn't go curly

not even wavy, the most I would get is a bad excuse for a curl where my hair bobble had been. I went to have my hair trimmed and my hairdresser commented on how straight it was
Anyway, I started to use metal curlers for my hair and the next time I had my hair done my hair dresser said I had singed the top layer of my hair off by using the curlers. So once a week I am using a moisture hair mask to try to get rid of the dry frizzy singed bits and have been limiting the amount that I use my straighteners to curl my hair.
Tonight I used conditioner for the first time in ages and put a little moose in my hair before drying it with a diffuser and there is no curl at all

I have it damp in a bun and see if that will help.
Has anyone got any ideas why it would suddenly go straight?
Sorry for the really long post, I hope you can help.
