Default Heat Damage, =/

Hello other CG, I am pretty new to this thread. I have been flat ironing my hair during the winter, until i realized i had suffered from heat damage. I have stopped using any source of heating & Resorted to braid outs and buns. I am in need of what products would be good to use on damaged hair. I know that no product will reverse my curls, i will probably end up cutting the back into a bob considering the back has the most damage. I was thinking of using Shea Moisture Repair & Transition Kit. Is the deep conditioner really bad ? Please help, thankss !
