Default Protective natural short styles for sleep

I finished my transition yesterday and I can barely braid my hair...I dunno how to twist and stuff lol so I dunno what to do. I don't want my hair to get matted and dreaded from my crazy sleep patterns /:

A satin bonnet or scarf should do it. That's what I have been using and it works great for shorter and longer hair. (The scarf that is. A bonnet eventually gets too small.)
