Lily of the desert aloe Vera gel vs flax seed gel
What's your thoughts ?
How you use it? What level hold would you rate it? You see any change in your hair ? |
For my 4a hair FSG is a better curl definer than AVG. it may provide more hold too. My recipe is 1/4 cup FS with 2 cups water. I also add (but u can skip) 1 tbsp each jojoba oil and glycerin. Google FSG. There are various recipes online.

Update. Today I used 3 tbsp acg mixed with 1 tbsp jojoba oil and used it all on my soaking wet hair as a styler (after cowashing and conditioning hair). I will say it defined my hair as well as flaxseed gel but flaxseed gel gives more hold. FSG had a bit more of a crunch factor than AVG.

avg for aloe Vera gel. Acg is a typp

Im looking for something that defines my curls with light hold
But idk what's healthier avg or fsg My hair finally got to the point I don't need gel But I just want something defines my curls |
Mix chick, both avg and fsg are good/healthy for your hair. I would recommend you use both combined like a mixture of 2 tbsp each avg and fsg plus 1 tbsp jojoba oil. You need to experiment.

Didn't think I could mix the two
|
Mix chick google it. I see some FSG recipes that include a bit of AVG.

I would say that FSG is better, however, it has medium hold and for ME made my hair crunchy and dry...for moisture I prefer aloe vera. If you are going to go with flaxseed gel, make sure that you add moisturizing ingredients or humectants like honey in there.
