Tresseme Natural Conditioner

I'm in need of a leave in conditioner and I heard you could use rinse out conditioner as a leave in as long as it doesn't silicone in it. I want to use Tresemme Naturals as a leave in, but I've heard it cause build up.

I've never heard of Tresemme Naturals causing build-up. Rather, most people here have successfully used it as a leave-in.

I love Tresemme Naturals as a rinse out but I dislike it as a leave-in. It never seems to cooperate with my other hair products, especially my gel or curly pudding, which are two things I like to have in my hair. When I use my Tresemme Naturals as a leave-in with my gel or pudding, it causes little white balls to show up all over my hair.

I use Tresemme Naturals moisturizing conditioner as a leave in under my stylers (eco styler gel, camille rose butters and gels) and have not had the white ball issue. It's actually better than any other conditioners marketed as leave ins that I have tried.

^^^ REALLY?!!! Lucky you! Every time I try it with Eco I get gooey balls all over.

I'm low porosity though.

Are you using a lot of Eco styler gel? Are you not allowing the leave in to dry before you put in the gel?

I'm not sure of my porosity but I guess I'm not low porosity.

Ain't nobody got time for that! LoL!!

But seriously.

It just makes balls all on its own.
My hair apparently sucks. .p

Lol...no your hair doesn't suck; it just doesn't agree with the product. Btw have u heard that the Tresemme Naturals ingredients have changed? I'm gonna have to check it out to see if it will still work for me.

I used to leave tres. Naturals in my hair but I stopped because it would take my hair too long to air dry especially in the middle I also found it to cause friz but other than that when i was in my twa phase I loved the product as a leave in

Depends on your hair properties and what other products you are using.

Alessandrraaaa 08-05-2013 11:33 AM

I use just a very very small amount of shea moisture anti breakage masque

Ashleynicol 08-06-2013 12:18 PM

I am using the tresseme natural as my cowash and leave in currently and it seems to work pretty well. There are a few other brands I want to try as leave ins but this is working great for me for now.

africana 08-27-2013 10:11 PM

I tried using this as a leave in and it made my hair really hard. I think it's cause it has a lot of humectants and it's been really dry where I am lately.

curlicious13 08-27-2013 10:44 PM

I've heard good things about this conditioner but I think I will hold off getting this until spring. I live in Dallas & summer will have really high dew points. The winters will be really dry. From what I've heard, you don't want to use humectants in those conditions.

BlackAngelPlayah 08-28-2013 04:52 AM

Someone told me a trick to avoiding white balls and all sorts of shenanigans with leave ins. Apply oil on top of said leave in, then the gel. Does it work? A little. :)

Yep, it happened to me. I love it as a rinse out year round, but would only use it when humid as a leave in. I used it as a leave in on day that was not humid and it was crunch city. As for super high dew points? That means frizz right?

curlicious13 08-28-2013 11:55 AM

Yes.
