I think as long as you are using low to medium heat you should be ok. Minimal damage that way. I like using the dryer because I am too impatient to diffuse for more than 5-10 minutes and air drying can take all day for my super dense hair.

Co Wash: As I am
RO: Yes To Carrots / Ion

Agree low heat and stop drying when your hair is still damp.
2a-2c, medium texture, porous/ colour treated. Three years CG, growing out mechanical and chemical damage = breakage and very high porosity. Past armpit length heading for waist.

CO-wash: Inecto coconut
Treatments: Komaza Matani, coconut oil, Hairveda Sitrinillah
Leave in: Fructis Sleek & Shine (old), Gliss ultimate volume, Inecto argan
Styler: Umberto Giannini jelly, Boots Essentials gel
Experimenting with: going back to basics
