100% natural, light curl cream?
With the cooler weather, my summer regimine of hair milk & pomade is leaving some frizz. Does anyone know of a light curl cream, or a thick hair milk, that's 100% natural?
Oyin's whipped pudding looks OK, but it has optiphen - not terrible, but I'd rather avoid preservatives.
I was thinking of trying MHC's cognac & vanilla bean hair texturizer - it seems to be a little stronger than the almond milk. Or else, maybe MHC's type 2 cream (since it's light) - but i haven't seen such great reviews about that here.
Has anyone tried either one of those, or is there another hair cream you've found? thanks!

I like Curls by Sisters Smith's Wet Set Pudding.....I've tried the type 2 cream and didn't have good luck with it but did with the WSP. I also like Karens Body Beautiful. She has a cream as well.

I agree with rymorg2. The MHC curl creme left me without curls. The WSP is not light, but it's great. The KBB products are wonderful. I like the KBB hair milk much better than the MHC coconut hair milk. The other more natural products I use for curl enhancement are KCCC and Innersense QCCC.

I second the QCCC recommendation. For my 3A hair, I need a hard hold gel on top, because it doesn't have any hold of its own. But its a very nice curl cream. Also, on the heavier side (for low dews), I love using either Komaza coconut pudding or Ohm sweet hair pudding.
I store QCCC, Komaza, and Ohm in my refrigerator, and keep small containers in my bathroom cabinet to prolong shelf life since they don't have a lot of preservatives.
Here are the various ingredient lists:
Innersense QCCC:
Purified Water (Aqua/eau),Glycerin 1), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride 2), Stearyl Alcohol 1), Cetyl Alcohol 1), Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil, Glyceryl Stearate 1), Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract ***, Nelumbium Speciosum (Lotus) Flower Oil **, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)** , Sorbitol 3), Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Oil**, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed extract, Cetrimonium Chloride, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Flower Oil** , Aspalathus Linearis Extract ** 4), Nelumbium Speciosum (Lotus) Flower Exttract** , Echinacea Angustifolia Extract ** 5), Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Seed Oil **, Plumeria Alba (Frangipani) Flower Extract, Cymbopogon Schoenanthus (Lemongrass) Extract *** , Agropyron (Wheatgrass) Extract ***, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Parfum of Natural Oils
Komaza coconut pudding:
Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Sunflower Oil Dipalmitoylethyldimonium Chloride (A derivitive of Palm Oil) aloe vera, acrylates, alkyl acrylates, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Polysorbate 20, Cinnamom Cassia. Sorbate, cinnamon cassia.
Ohm SHP:
Aloe Gel, Distilled water, Shea butter, Honey, Avocado Oil, Castor Oil, Pantheon (Vitamin B5), Yarrow, Sage, Natural Thickener, Nettle, Lavender, Horsetail. Emulsifying Wax, Vitamin E, Potassium Sorbate- Preservative, Colored with Wild Cherry Extract and Fragrance Blend.
