Thumbs up No gel/No mousse, only natural style

I want to share how i style my curly hair with no gel and no mousse.
After I co-wash my hair I use aloe vera gel and coconut oil. ( about 50/50)

If you dislike chimical products that's a good way to keep beautiful curls with natural products.

( i am french and i found this idea in
http://mille-et-une-boucles.forumactif.net ).

that sounds a bit too light for my hair, but sounds very conditioning. I have been thinking about natural styling... i might use some egg whites for hold... works JUST like gel.

I tried all natural style. I went about it differently. I am not sure if it is really all natural style. I didn't use homemade products. I really didn't even use stylers, but i guess jaass one upped me, and she used all natural gel and oil.

Your hairs so beautiful !
I use just aloe vera gel at the moment (I'm too sensitive for chemical hair products) but I'm going to try the coco oil or at least some natural leave-in.

Hi Jaass

I'm French too

Anyway, I do the same as you do, only co-wash and then I use some homemade balm or some aloe vera mixed with jojoba oil !!

I use on wet hair. I never try to use it on dry hair.

I would love to go all natural, but my hair is prone to frizz unless I seal it up with heavy duty gel. This is despite doing CG for 2 years. I have medium porosity. not sure if that is the culprit.

I kind of have the same styling idea. Coconut oil, curl cream by Alba Botanicals for hold. I like my curls funky and free!

That's pretty much what I have used before NC (can't live without my coconut oil ), but I still didn't work out how to make my hair frizz free like that.

I use FOTE daily, but under a regular gel. I dilute both of them with water, too. I think the FOTE is moisturizing and you don't have to scrunch out crunchiness after the hair dries.
