Best organic shampoo/conditioner?

Like Tree6Likes

For anyone out there who has used the Aubrey hair mask I have a question that I really need answering before I buy it please. Can it be used as a regular deep conditioner that you put in after shampooing, leave to set then wash out with just water???

I ask because the instructions say to use if BEFORE shampoo, then wash it out with shampoo.

Organic soap bars are a really gentle cleanser. Much gentler than low poo.

2c/3a, botticelli/wavy/'swavy (huh?)
fine, dense, normal porosity/elasticity, dry climate

My favorite brands are Kinky Curly, As I am, Curly Kinks, Curl Junkie, and Darcy's Botanicals. Also love sealing with oils (loving argan oil right now) and styling with jelly products (KCCC is my current favorite). Mostly trying to keep it simple!

Henna Sooq Moroccan Clay shampoo bar is the best hands down. Contains Rhassoul clay. Hair does not feel stripped at all.

everyday shea shampoo is natural shea butter soap. you can get a whole 32 once bottle from whole foods. best shampoo. very creamy.
I'm using cleansing conditioners these days
I really like Desert Essence organic shampoo. You can get it also online, at iherb. All of the DE products are divine.

Desert Essence, Organics Hair Care, Shampoo, Fragrance Free, 8 fl oz (236 ml) - iHerb.com

For a conditioner I would recommend Alba Botanica. It smells so good.

Alba Botanica, Honeydew Nourishing Hair Conditioner, 12 fl oz (350 ml) - iHerb.com
You should definitely try using the natural organic shampoo from Natural Way Organics. Theirs doesn't cost much and will leave your hair revived and full of shine.
I usually suggest Organic Products of Hugo Natural Brand, Theraneem, Shikai... Also used them personaly... It will give you fruit full results

You can now buy all these brands online..
You need to stop using sulfates, because that's what's inside Pantene shampoos, which are a death sentence to curls. Sulfates are harsh surfactants that you can even find in laundry detergents, they cleanse your hair, but they also strip it from any moisture, consequently drying out your hair.

I read from Kathymack's review that the Komaza Califia Care line carry a fabulous shampoo and conditioner. Jessicurl Gentle Lather Shampoo and Jessicurl Too Shea! Extra Moisturizing Conditioner also receive rave reviews.

Have you begun co-washing? It's a method of washing curly hair by scrubbing and massaging conditioner onto your scalp like you would with a shampoo. I haven't shampooed since I began co-washing when I turned CG seven weeks ago, and my hair is a lot better because of it. My hair doesn't get dirty because I stay away from ingredients such as mineral oil, petrolatum/petroleum, and water-insoluble silicones.
