Nothing can truly repair hair since hair is dead and has no regenerative properties. Things like protein treatments can fill in the gaps/damaged parts and help keep the hair from breaking off, but nothing can actually repair damaged hair.In other words, anything you do to hair will only be short term. Hair that is damaged will remain damaged until it is cut off.

The scalp of course has regenerative properties, but repair of it would depend on the underlying problem.

Hi agree, with protein treatments not necessarily curing damaged hair. I think there are a few options though that are more natural than APhogee in trying to patch the damage. I would suggest Sizta2Sizta Halt Breakage Control. The ingredients are Whole leaf aloe vera gel, Deonized water, Guar silk, cropeptide W, Pro V B5, germall, fragrance. In my opinion it is comparable to Nexxus Emergencee but a lot cheaper and more natural without sacrificing quality. I also like Curls Ecstasy Hair Tea Conditioner. The ingredients are: Purified Water, Cetyl Alcohol, Octyl Palmitrate, Behentrimonum Methosulfate, Certified Organic Aloe Leaf Juice, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Propylene Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearth-20, Certified Organic Ho Shu Wu Extract, Certified Organic Green Tea Extract, Certified Organic Chamomile Extract, Certified Organic Calendula Extract, Mango Butter, Shea Butter, Panthenol, Soy Protein, Citric Acid, Quaternium-15. It is a little more pricier though, but I like this too.
