Cool Karparti anyone??

Has anyone tried this brand? It seems that there are a few new products since I last looked at it. There is now also a gel, hairspray and a detangler. I am tempted to buy the hairspray and the gel but would love some feedback first. When first going CG I tried the conditioner and thought it was nothing special. I have also tried the styling paste and was not impressed. What do you think?

I tried the detangler and had allergy issues with it.

Thanks curlyworlygirly and feralcurls for responding. It seems that not many of us CGs have used this range. I was so tempted to buy from curlmart with the 15% off but have managed to control myself. I was looking at the Karparti range in desperation!! If only we had a great range of product readily available here in Australia ... us Aussies' common lament.

I think i've tried WAY too many things... i'm yet again trying to down size my stash... i too was tempted by the curlmart 15% off (all the thanks giving, black friday and cyber monday sales!). I've run out of my beloved KCCC finally. Trying to cope with out it for a while... i do miss the curl enhancement i get with it though!!!

let us know if you decided to try out karparti (i do believe the range has expanded since I last looked at it)

I've picked these products up a few times and always put them back again, not sure why, I think maybe they've had ingredients in them that my hair doesn't like.
Would be nice to find a CJ equivalent, or some such thing, here in Oz.

I totally agree. It seems to be the product that everyone loves for their curls.

I've just jumped on the website to double check...
I've tried..
CJ CCC lite - made my hair super soft, but not enough hold on enhancement for me. I was afraid still to put to much in
CJ CIAB - this is a hit and miss product for me. It's been rather helpful of late with reducing frizz, but it's a product i have to layer with others.
CJ daily fix - nice co-wash/low poo type product, i still found it a bit harsh at times.

I tried a few of the conditioners and leave in's all very nice and thick, but i find like a lot of conditioners they don't absorb in my hair.

the only product i completely fell in love with and am seriously considering buying again is curl rehab, my hair just absorbed it plus the strawberry scent was to die for!

Think that's all of the ones i tried.

Whilst washing my hair today I realised that the American's still have the same amount of curl angst as we do and that is with all their products!

There are a couple that have found their holy grails but reading through General there are a stack of people that have pesky curl hair!

Very true Fc. Although I am very grateful to this site for everything it has taught me re curls, perhaps I need to stop trying so hard! Note to self: there is no HG so stop stressing about it!!
