DevaCurl method and products

My story is a long one! I found this forum when I did a google search for DevaChan products in Australia. Turns out there aren't any!

I started using their products early 2011, and was able to turn my mop of a hair into perfect ringlets without frizz. But at that time I was purchasing the products from eBay, with a delivery cost of over $60. I purchased large bottles and so they lasted a fair while. i ran out a few weeks ago.

Since running out, I have tried so many other products. I always end up with frizz no matter what I do. My curls have lost their lustre and now just look kind of oily and frizzy all at once.

I thought I was the only Aussie CurlyGirl until I found you lot!!! I purchased the CurlyGirl book from the book depository for 12 bucks, and have never looked back. Except for now when I have left my hair productless bcz nothing is workign out for me.

So really i'm rambling on for no reason! :-) Just glad I found this forum full of Aussie curly girls. Thanks to you lot I found the AVEYOU website, where its only $35 delivery, but I need to get about $180 together to make my first purchase.

Anyone ever purchased from AVEYOU before?
I've never used them, I didn't realise they posted o/s. Anyway, just wanted to say hi, this forum doesn't get much traffic any more so don't hold your breath waiting for replies!
3b in South Australia.
Hi I don't know if your still on here or not but I'm on the goldcoast and so far I use a shampoo and condish by sukin I found it in an organic shop I use the moisture restoring shampoo and condish it is packed with sooooooo many oils all the good ones and no sulfates AT ALL and no silicones AT ALL and no parabins and no other nasty chemicals or things in it I use it for a leave in also so I would recommend it for a cg friendly product
Oh and I also heard that priceline has some good sulfate and cone free products and aldi and red earth if u have one neer u also some of the us grls have been here on holly's and found good products 😃 hope this helps any Aussie curlies
I found a great silicone free styling product by Nak called Kurls. Its available at professional hair shops here in aus. I love it and it's def. worth a try. Also from the supermarket try loreal ever sleek silicone free conditioner or tresseme naturals. Both silicone free.
Just a quick tip try shopping online (au) just google online organic shop and there's quite a few Australian online shops with silicone free and sulfate free shampoos and condish and cleansing condish and stylers and treatments that are jam pact full of good oils ect and they always show product ingredients
