Soooo frustrated trying to find products!

You're kidding me!!? We're inundated here with commercials with the Aussie-sounding woman telling us to "put a little 'roo in your do" and the products aren't even sold there? What a bunch of suckers we are!

I've been shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got some Burt's Bee condish & poo ($16.95 each) from Terry White and also got.............Giovanni stuff! Got the Direct Leave-in ($14.95) and also little bottles of the Tea Tree poo & condish ($4.95 each). Got the Giovanni from the health food shop in Chirnside park. The distributor is In 2 Health 07 5442 3555 if you want to call to find it near you.

I whacked the Direct Leave-in on to dry hair and it seems like it will be nice. Hair had been rained on and it certainly made it look better.

Also got some Inecto treatment but that as a A-cone in it.
Ooh, thanks for the no. I'd been getting Giovanni online from Queensland, nice to know it's available in real shops. Bet you anything there's nowhere in SA stocks it!

awww.. feral curls... hehe i'm becoming such a pj.

I'm acutally have good luck with my routine atm, I'm using KCKT, re:coil then KCCC my roots are even curling (well starting!!)

though I am nearly out of conditioner (biolage balm) I'm on the look out for a new one as I think it'sa bit heavy for me to use everytime. let us know (please) how the giovanni and burts bees go.

After 1 go each - I really liked the Giovanni. Was really nice on my scalp, no itchies and my hair was nice. Burts Bees was ok not great though. Don't think it is moisturising enough for me.
how would you compare the moisture to biloage contioning balm if you've used it. I'm looking for something a little lighter.

thanks again for sharing

Biolage is my HG conditioner! I really don't find anything else as moisturising. Mastey Moisturee is nice though.

After using both the BB & Giovanni conditioners I felt the need to put another conditioner on. I did get fairly good detangling with both. So not as moisturising as Biolage.

MOP Mixed Greens might also be worth a look. Bit pricey though at around $23.

My main aim is lots of moisture and I am aiming for my curl to be squashed down a bit!

How are you using the Biolage?

I certainly can't use the balm all the time, and I'd guess from your picture that my medium textured hair is thicker and curlier than yours. Both the GTTTT and GDLI are plenty conditioning for me for regular use. I only use the Biolage balm right after I henna or for a deep treatment unless I start seeming too dry - rarely a problem since I stopped using 'cones and sulfates.

auntnett:

thanks... so much for the advice. The biolage balm does make my hair super soft and silky... but almost to much so, it's hard to style when it's that soft.

Just tried a new styling product and thought I would share! Garnier Fibre Gum. Gave good curls that lasted all day. Little bit of crunch left over after scrunching. Has a peg cone and peg castor oil. Similar sort of product to LOOB I think.
hope you all had a nice chrissy break, and got lots of bargains at the boxing day sales (while I was working my bum off!)

oooh.. hehe more products to try!!! sounds interesting, where did you get it feralcurls?I know priceline and the supermarket usually have garnier.

i just tried out the jessicurl weekly DT or whatever its called (i got a small tube with my other trial jessicurl.. finally used it!) because my hair has gotten really dry and frizzy of late. I'll let you know how I go, i'm waiting for it to dry.

Merry Christmas to you too!

Just got the Garnier from the supermarket.

I did get some good bargains including....Mastey products for $5 each!!
WOW! mastey stuff for $5!!! where where?? I wish I got some... wonder if there is any left.

well the DT did nothing for my poor hair, it's still dry (well dry for me.. still soft but not as soft) and frizzy. dunno what it is, I stoped using recoil before christmas in hope it was just that playing up, but it hasn't changed. I've been only using KCKT and KCCC which are meant to be moisturizing? so why frizz and dry.. could it be the weather?

so I'm thinking I might try some coconut oil(that's if i can find some today) how do you use it feral curls? I'm afraid i won't be able to get it out!

curlywurlygurly, the KCCC gives me terrible frizz, though it's been like that since day one for me, I know it was working for you before.
3b in South Australia.
Mastey was at a Price Attack store in Eastland.

I just put the coconut oil on dry hair and sleep with it on. Don't need much. I usually put it on early in the evening and it dry by the time I go to bed. I low poo it out.

I am finding Mop C curl cream isn't working at the moment and am thinking it is a weather thing.
awesome I don't know where my closest price attack is.. hmm... are they getting rid of mastey?

I had a quick look in the health food store before work today, but I couldn't find any coconut oil, is it the essential oil and you have to mix it with carrier or is it something else? (feeling rather clueless right now!)

my hair has well not been it's self lately, and the lovely melbourne weather has well been driving me nuts (storming one day, and scorching hot the next) I think maybe my hair is in shock, or maybe it's because its drier. I really don't know all I know is that my poor hair is all frizzy,it's been spending a lot of time in buns to try hide it, but the frizzy still escapes. I got home from work and to my horror I looked in the mirror to find all these pieces sticking out everywhere!

The coconut oil is the cooking oil! So normally near the food stuff. Coconut milk is supposed to work too.

Maybe try some lube for the frizz!! I think this is the sort of weather that lube is supposed to work in.

There was no Mastey products on the shelves so I say they are getting rid of it. If the Hair warehouse stop selling it as well I may be rather upset!! Triate has to be one of my fav products.
Thanks I found it, I asked the guy. It's coconut oil/ butter not sure if it needs to be refrigerated though?

yeah I gave lube a try not long ago, because I hadn't used it in ages (didn't work in winter). I'll have to try again and see what happens.

Only some hairhouse warehouses have it too..so hopefully they don't all get rid of it!Not sure whether petra have it? triate is great (hehe poet and didn't even know it!), always make my hair feel soft yet clean.

i'll let you know how the coconut goes thanks
