Default Conditioner/Gel residue

I seem 2 end up with quite alot of white stuff on my hair when i condition & gel, does any1 else get this or am i doing something wrong. At the moment im using pears co wash & garnier fructis triple nourishment as wash out & pears & shea butter as leave in & garnier 24hr endurance gel. Its almost as though its not absorbing in my hair.

I once heard that some people need to rinse out more or leave in less conditioner than others. It depends on the person and the hair type. You could try leaving a bit less conditioner in your hair. Once I tried to rinse out my conditioner for literally a second and leave 99% of it in, and I ended up with white residue when I combined the gel. It was like the product was lathering and sort of building up in it while it was wet and being scrunched.

Is the residue occuring while your hair is wet and when you're applying your product (almost like lather, similar to what I had) or is it white flakes that you're experiencing from the product drying on your hair?

It could also be that your hair isn't responding well to one or more of your products? x

Yea its like it lathers, most of the time it goes away when i plop. But i do get it sometimes when i just pray my hair & apply conditioner & gel. Having less conditioner isn't really an option i dont think as my hair is extremely dry & frizzy

I can understand where you're coming from because my hair is dry too. When your hair dries does the residue stay on your hair or does it dry invisible? That's what happens for me xx
