I miss my aussie curly girls

Glad you found it let me know how the Giovanni DLI goes. I've been tempted to buy the sample size i've seen just to try. I'm on a hair care no spending ban - say I who just bought more hair oil (*roll eyes*). No new products till it's long enough to style I say, the oil on the other hand is for my scalp and to 'maximize' my growth. It cost me $4.50 - haha a true pj I am, having to justify my spending! *shakes head*

kissa - i'd love to know how to rate it against the curls products.

I find the Giovanni DLI quite heavy in my hair and I think I can take more product etc than you by the sounds of it curlywurlygurly.
Thanks feral curls. Yeah, my hair seems to be more easily weighed down then yours. I've found especially since I've cut off all my colour/ heat damaged hair my hair behaves weirdly. Some things I can take more of but others I have to be more light handed on. I feel like I'm starting from scratch almost. Kind of frustrating.

Though this thread seems to have gone off topic, I thought I'd announce that I'm back after more than a year I'm glad to see you're all still out and about. I'm looking forward to experimenting more with my hair care again now that I've almost grown out all the bleach from my sad attempt at blonde. Look out for many posts on asking for advice on protecting my hair from the pool.
And I can see we have comrades to turn to when the US girls start talking about Summer hair issues, and we really need to focus on the Winter hair issues
Sorry for the long ramble, but I'm glad to be back.

My blog: Can't Stop Thinking About Hair
I def. need to get on here more. Life is taking over my life,

Hope you all had a wonderful, delicious Easter
Time to get back to business on the boards, lol

I miss being on here!! It's the only place you can freely talk about anything and everything to do with hair, minus the weird looks from the *outsiders* when you start rambling on in CG-code/acronyms, LOL

haha glad you're all still here. I've been hanging out at the growing out board...grow hair grow! I have been kinda neglecting out lovely sanctuary, sorry. I hope you're all well.

Yes well my friends always are surprised about how much I know about hair. I pointed my friend (who has the most gorgeous curls) to this site, and she's been playing around with different things from here. She was super excited.

anywho enough ramble!

Just saying hello too. I'm still around a fair bit but seem to spend less and less time here. Like AlannahAngel - my life is getting in the way! Been busy decorating and gardening (both way overdue) and went to Perth for Easter to visit some friends (had a chocolatey Easter Sunday at the choc factory in the Swan Valley, very nice!). And there's always the dreaded work rearing it's ugly head too.
Always find some time to obsess over my hair though.

It's good to see some of you guys back out of hiding after the Easter break

My kids went to those bowls several times, little piggies! I had a disgustingly big piece of a freckle! Very nice.

I will have to remember this place when I go that way. There is a very nice chocoholic walking tour that is run in Melbourne city, definitely check it out if you like chocolate and are in Melbourne. They take you to a range of little chocolate places and you try all sorts of chocolate.

I can't wait to go to the haigh's factory (again) later in the year I LOVE haigs!
