Nicole Kidman's hair then and now
Nicole Kidman's photo in the 3a example on the hair types page doesn't look the same as in The Days of Thunder and her Tom Cruise days, back in the '90s.
When her hair is curly now, it looks like a blow out and then curled with a curling iron. Her hair looked naturally curly before, in the '90s.

Calling Nicole Kidman a 3a would be inaccurate. The 3a curls she's been sporting over recent years are results of heat styling. I don't understand how this site titles her as a 3a. Naturally, she's more of a 3b/3c combo. I'm a 3b, yet my hair isn't as curly as hers. Her curls start from the roots, mine start at two inches. She's a 3b/3c, unless I'm wrong about my own curl type being a 3b.

She's definitely a natural 3b with a smidge of 3c. She's got the straight albino glam look now.

They're typing her as her hair is NOW(what they perceive to be her typing), not necessarily by her natural texture, that she no longer sports.
And typing isn't an exact science. There really is no science involved (with the system used). It's a very limited hierarchy, as no one really fits neatly into each category. Plus, since they're no textbook curl-types, you can expect to see different curlies in categories whose hair may not look like others.

She also looks like she's had a lot of SURGERY!!!!
Compared to her old pics she looks less human to me.
That hair must be a b&#^@ to keep straight...and blonde...

I think she looked so much prettier with her natural red 3b/c curls...she is like a pod person now, all bleached and ironed and botoxed.

I agree. She and her hair look washed out, overprocessed and tired. I thought she was much prettier with her natural curls and pre-procedure face.

I am totally down on her. She straightens, she bleaches, she dyes (eyebrows).
She's lost all her individuality, and real beauty.
I think she should be kicked out of the redheaded league (yes I AM a card carrying member, thankyouverymuch!).

Yes, this. Tons and tons and tons of surgery. She looks like a plastic woman, to me. Pity.

She's betrayed the curly, the redheaded, and the authentic.
She gets THE SHOE.

She used to be one of my favourite actors, simply because I LOVED her hair! It's really a shame she felt the need to conform, she used to have a very unique and beautiful look, and with that accent, she was truly a knockout!

She has taken the Stepford wife part to the extreme. Not even remotely attractive now. I the last picture eccentric posted above, she is absolutely stunning.
But I guess Keith must like the new fake Nicole. Maybe he has poor eyesight.

To me it looks like she has 1/2 the hair she used to have. Even if you straightened the hair in the last photo it would look a lot fuller than the pic where she is blond and straight. Where did all that hair go?

I think it's all that straight, lank hair of his hanging in his eyes.

I always like Nicole Kidman...its probably an Australian thing, lol! But I definitely agree that she has succumb to the blonde/straight hair + super skinny = sexy thing. I would love it if she went back to her natural curls/color because her hair was so stunning. She USED to have such an individual, etheral beauty, such a shame she has turned into a clone

Hell, I pay $60 a pop to get red hair, and she leaves hers behind.
I get my eyebrows dyed too. They're very blonde and look weird with red hair.
If I didn't keep my curls, I'd be getting to shoe too.
