Juliette Margolies on the Good Wife had given up her curls

I was so disappointed that Julia Louise Dreyfus also gave up her curls. On an up note. there is a curly on a new show called Hung. The actress Jane Adams seems to always wear her hair curly. I just wish there were more of us on TV and in the movies! We a very under represented by the media---especially in a positive way!

Yeah.. I pretty much had a feeling thatJulianna Margulies wasn't going to have curly hair on the show. On her new show she plays a lawyer and in most of the professional world.. curly hair is not considered "professional looking".

I bet the people behind the show had her straighten her hair specifically for the role and then they probably wanted to play down her look anyway because she's supposed to be a politician's wife that has been out of commission for while... I even notice the way they do her makeup is played down a lot.

And yep.. Julia Louie Dreyfus... gone are the days of Elaine on Seinfeld. I absolutely LOVED her hair on the early seasons of Seinfeld. I honestly think she was probably tired of having curly hair and straightened it on her own..because on Seinfeld she started the show with all this long curly/wavy hair so I doubt they asked her to change it. Plus, I noticed over the years when she would appear on the red carpet she had her hair straightened often and just done with a big barrel curling iron.

There is this woman on the show called Mercy..her name is Jamie Lee Kirchner and she has naturally curly hair.. but she wears this UGLY wig on the show. The wig is curly but it looks like an old lady wig! And I don't get it. I am like.. okay..clearly they are okay with the curls.. so why is she wearing that ugly wig! I've seen her own curly hair and it's lovely. And even if SHE requested to wear a wig.. couldn't they have gotten a better one.. UGH!

I have to agree.. it would be cool to see some more curlies on tv and in movies.... but I just think straight hair will always rule at least in American society.

I think this is the story of all curlies in the entertainment industry, no matter what capacity. THEY ALWAYS STRAIGHTEN in the end. They may start with their curls but they don't last.

I don't think I have ever seen her w/o them.

She doesn't look half as good with that wanna be strait hair. Not silky looking at all. Looks icky!

By the end of the season her hair is gonna be straw for sure!
It would be cool if the curls made a come back like the "Good Wife" is having.
Curls are appearing here and there on TV and Movies more and more.
I think a lot more stars have curls than we know.
