It looks like my hair when I use sponge rollers - more like curls than waves. Nice! I want to grow my hair longer so I can do spongie rollers again.

i'm having a hard time believing that pic's a braid out (or that she isn't rocking extensions), but she looks beautiful no less.

She looks great, but I'm also throwing out the BS card on that claim!! All that hair and volume from a braid out?!

Looks more like spongy rollers to me too.

I haven't ever seen anyone get that look with just 3-4 braids... it looks more like a full roller set to me.

To me Alicia's hair looks like it has been set on rollers in that picture.

But this lady on YT did a look almost simliar with bantu knots at night and then taking them down the next day. She has 3b hair mainly with some 3c underneath in back. It actually looked really nice. It wasn't as "controlled" as Alicia's because I mean obviously a professional did Alicia's. But the woman on YT sure did a nice job.

I believe the bantu knots- because you can set them up in different spots and it can give you volume when you set them lose. But braids?! I have a ton of hair and braid outs leave me with more of a flat look. Like, if I want less volume, I would do a braid out.

Can you post the YT vid?
