Alright So the formula I used was 10 mL (or whatever the #s on the coffee pots units are) of coffee 2 tablespoons of coffee grounds and a bunch of Natures Gate Biotin conditioner all mixed in one bowl.

I absolutely LOVED pouring the cold coffee mixture onto my scalp and thru my hair. That should seriously be a spa treatment because it feels SOOO GOOD and was super relaxing... I think I did this for about 30 min because it felt amazing.

Then I squeezed the extra coffee out of my hair (many times.. because it kept dripping everywhere) and let it dry on my head. I would highly HIGHLY recommend doing this rinse WITHOUT the loose coffee grinds because they were seriously hell to deal with. Everytime I moved coffee grinds would shower down onto the floor and other surfaces... not cool. Even when I put a bag over my hair to go to sleep I still got coffee grinds all in my bed and all over myself... pretty gross. As a whole its pretty uncomfortable to sleep with a bag on your hair and with it soaked in coffee (anyone doin this rinse better find a coffee they LOVE the smell of cuz your gonna smell like that for a while!) so a couple hours is probably much better than over night. Thenn when I rinsed out the coffee the grin got everywhere in my bath tub area and stuck to everything so it was quite a mess! Also there were so many coffee grounds stuck on my scalp that only my hair brush could remove after the shower (again.... woulda been MUCH better without the loose grinds).

Results:
Copper tones in my hair became very bright and vibrant! Although the whole point of doing this rinse was to dye my hair darker and get RID of my copper tones I was still pretty pleased with how it made the kinda faded washed out copper tones look. It definitely enhanced them to the point where i kinda like them now, rather than despise them.

Overall I probably will not be doing this rinse again. Way too messy and it didn't dye my hair any darker, like Id hoped. But for those who want to enrich copper tones in dark brown hair then you will probably love it

But maybe doing it multiple tipes will bring out the darker colours?
I heard some people mix the coffee into their DT or with flour to create a paste that is not as messy as just pouring the coffee over your hair...

Also,as you have noticed, you should strain the coffee before using it.

hey flour is a good idea! and yeah and maybe if i do darker coffee too but the coffee dye recipe i had said to add 2 tbl spoons on loose grounds to the mixture so if i do this again i will definitely skip that step!!!

But it did make my brown dyed hair very very vibrant so maybe I will do it again
