I saw this too, but somehow flitted right over it. How do you think we'll know when it's safe to buy again? I'm thinking of trying their Ginger Tea shade precisely because of the refresher pack.

And thank you, slivola!
That's a good question- you might need to email clairol directly to inquire.

Perhaps I shall when ready.

I would pitch a wild hissy if I used a "refresher" that turned my hair the wrong color. Can you imagine if that happened to you (although you're far less hapless than I when it comes to color)?
No, I couldn't imagine which I why I posted the link as soon as I saw the recall. At least it's not a permanent color though! I once worked with someone who liked my hair color (it was kind of caramel at the time back when I was using nice & easy) so she ran out and bought some. I told her I needed 2 boxes for my hair length and she would too since hers was even longer. She used both of them and it turned out that somebody had put the wrong color dye bottle in one of the boxes but she hadn't thought to double check before she colored. So she unintentionally used two different colors but they weren't mixed together. She literally looked like a spotted cat- red, auburn, brown patches- total nightmare. She wound up having to have someone bleach out her hair and then recolor it to get it even. I felt so badly because it was all because of her wanting to try my brand!
