Thank you, but I still haven't found my HG hair dye color. It's the aveda color depositing conditioner in madder red that I've been using that brings the hair color from a coppery brown color to the vibrant red you see. After I dye, I start off like the pic on the bottom left in my signature (if you can see those three pics). Then after a few weeks of using the color depositing condish, I wind up like the pic on the far right in my signature. I wish I could find a color that starts off the color I wind up having! I've talked to some stylists who suggest that once hair has been colored, it's better just to use demis on the hair (other than the roots that need to be lightened) because colored hair is more porous and will soak up the demi color better than permanent and won't fade as fast plus it's less damaging. I'm going to try this out!
