Default Paging slivola, please!

I had a weird experience with Aveda Madder Root color condish yesterday. I would like your input, when and if you have a moment.

TIA

I'm no Slivola, but I'm just curious, what was your experience?

It .......landed funny. I used it all over, but it only seemed to take in certain places, so now I have these random (in a bad way, imo) darker red sections.
It could be worse, but still.

Now I'm waiting for fading, or for slivola to tell me if this has ever happened to her, and what she did to remedy things.

That is strange. I'm interested in the clove and possibly the black malva conditioners which are the other two color conditioners offered. I read through the entire review section for each yesterday, and it seems to me like what you're describing could be due to areas in your hair that could have potentially been more damaged or porous than others. For example, people in these reviews talked about the ends of their hair sometimes taking the color in these conditioners differently than the rest of their hair and it looking funny. One chick who'd used the black malva mentioned something about having blue and green spots randomly in her hair (that conditioner is supposed to get rid of red hues in brown hair). It seems like these really are the strongest color conditioners out there for actually depositing color hues.

I'm interested to see what kind of an answer you get though!

Well, my stylist just said pretty much what you did. So, it looks like I'll be trying to return the Madder Root to the shop......hope they accept it!

I have got to stop experimenting with color.

You know, that's what I always tell myself... Really, stop playing around with color. But we all know it's too much fun to give it up completely

At least with these conditioners, it seems as though people said the color enhancement will eventually wash out. They're probably regularly shampooing though.
