im sherry....someone has told me that you can add ur color dye to your shampoo to help keep it stay longer...is this true? i dye my hair black cherry and i love how it looks the first wk and a half til it starts washing out...is there anything i can do to help keep it longer in between dyes????? thanks

I have this same problem, too. I wash my hair everyday, so the color washes out even quicker.

I just started using Paul Mitchell Color Protect Daily Lock Spray, and it seems to help.

I've heard that you can add your color to your shampoo, but I've never tried that. I guess it's worth a try.

Also, make sure you use a shampoo specifically for colored hair and without harsh sulfates.

so do u know if your to mix developer in with the dye before u put it in ur shampoo????...im def thinkin bout trying this....
