So I have a salon appointment this Wednesday and originally I was planning on getting a perm to loosen my curls but I keep going back and forth...I have never relaxed or permed my hair ever. I was getting BB but stopped about 7-8 months ago. I haven't colored my hair in over 10 yrs and thinking about doing it for a little bit of a change.

I have naturally pretty dark hair and I have attached a couple pics....some of my hair completely natural and curly & then some blown out straight/flat ironed.

I was thinking of maybe a caramel with some highlights but I don't know if I could pull it off, so I am open to any suggestions

I like your natural color and curls! I would leave the base color your natural dark brown but you could add some caramel highlights.
That would look pretty and be less damaging too.

Thanks I have always wanted caramel hair and never thought about just doing highlights. The last time I colored my hair over a decade ago it was a disaster & it was done at a salon too....it was pretty much orange.

I would love to do another Keratin treatment even if it wasn't a BB. I called them at the salon today and they told me they do have several available that dont have any of the harsh chemicals in it. The BB made my curls look soooo good! Maybe I will do some highlights and a keratin treatment
