I colored my hair pretty consistently for about 5 years, but now I haven't done it since before Christmas. Sometimes when I look at hairs falling off my head (just in a normal shedding type way), they look coarser towards the ends, and the roots are baby fine. Could this be a leftover effect from the dye? I usually used semi-permanent out of a box from the drugstore, but occasionally used permanent colors and once had it done in a salon with Redken (I think demi-permanent?).
