Default Blah (random personal complaint)

I have a zit. I feel all insecure and self conscious this week. I'm a bit overreactive.

I must be having some weird hormone surge, and I've just gotten over my period. Ick.

That is all.

Maybe you should...color your hair?

Code:
sorry, couldn't resist
Hate those times. But there's some solace just in the fact that they will pass. Hope you feel better soon!

Haha! That's another thing! I've been trying and my hair just won't lift enough!

I know, who knows what's causing it. Boo.

I have hormonal issues, and I've been on a BCP that's helped it so I've felt pretty normal the past couple months. Now I'm on month 3 so I'm paranoid that it's going to change the effect.

It's probably just a hormone change leveling off and will hopefully pass soon.

For whatever reason I've noticed that doing some kind of creative project has a subtle but worth it way of lifting a person out of emotional funk. Making music can help too, even if you're simply sitting down at a piano.

It depends on how your brain works, but there should be a way to direct those feelings into something else for the time being, if the cause is physiological. It doesn't take it away, but it can have a softening effect.

This thread is actually posted in the hair coloring forum Wasn't sure if you noticed!
