Default Red hair dye and Glycerin: Thoughts?

I finally found a salon that was able to get the exact red shade I've been trying to achieve. Only problem is, the gel that has been working the best for me lately (Devacurl AnGel) contains glycerin. I read somewhere on here that glycerin is bad for red hair color and will remove the red molecules from your hair.

Does this mean that I can't use that gel at all? Or can I wait a little while after the color has set and use it? I have a feeling that the glycerin is the ingredient that my hair loves. It's higher up on the ingredients list. I have fine, looser curly hair that does well in humid weather as the moisture in the air defines the curl more and makes it tighter. I don't mind a little frizz and I don't mind big hair.

Every gel I have, I think, contains glycerin. The Biotera I was using for awhile has it, but it's lower down on the list. It has stopped working for me anyway, which sucks, as I really loved it for awhile.

Product recommendations are welcome as well!
Curltype:Fine, 2C underneath, Mostly 3A, with some 3B thrown in there. Normal porosity.
Shampoo: Devacare Lowpoo, Jessicurl GLS, clarify with sulfates 1x per month
Conditioner: DevaCare OC, Elucence MBC, Regis Olive Oil Masque DT
Products: Biotera Curl Creme, Biotera Gel. Devacurl AnGel has been working great lately, go figure.
I can't go totally CG as it weighs my hair down FAST. Hard water.
Bad haircut finally starting to grow out and look normal again!
