I had my hair colored on Thursday. My stylist said that the color had faded (which I agreed with) so she decided to pull it through toward the end rather than just touching up the roots. I have loved the color she has used in the past, but this came out really dark! My previous color was a medium to light brown with definite red/gold in it. It now is a medium to almost dark brown and is monochrome.

Any suggestions on what I can do to get it a little lighter and add some tones/highlights without getting it colored again?
