Hey, so I'm 15 and this school year I want to go for a two toned hair color. My hair is black but I want to lighten the top part of my hair to a light caramelish brown like my skin tone. So a question for all those experienced dyers... What brand do you find the best for semi-permanent/temporary dying? Do you find it to be very damaging to your hair?

Im trying to have a trial to see if I like this before school starts but I only have a few more weeks left. Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thanx
