Default my hair's too dark

I dyed my hair and it turned put too dark, black almost! I dyed it on Friday night, but I want it to be dark brown for school on Wednesday. how can Iighten it up quickly without damaging it a ton?(it's already damaged do to chlorine, salt water, and the dye.. oops )

Try mixing Dawn dish soap with shampoo - dawn dish soap helps to lighten color, but it's also very damaging so you don't want to use it straight on your hair.

I've also heard that if you put Prell shampoo on dry hair and leave it on for about 35-40 minutes and then wash that it will lighten color also, but I haven't ever tried it.
