Default Natural Coloring advice

I want to color my hair. Mainly because i'm 31 and have LOTS of grey. However, I don't want to do damage to my hair or lose curl pattern. Iv'e heard they're ways to naturally color your hair with Tea, coffee, sage, ect. My nat color is med/dark brown with auburn. Does the coffee or Tea method work. Anyone tried it? Any other suggestions on how to naturally color my hair?? Thanks!!
