How to get strawberry blond hair with henna, advice?

Okay, so I want to henna my hair. And I reallllly want to make my hair a strawberry blond color. I don't know what my natural hair color would be considered right now, so I attached a picture. I feel like my hair is on the lighter spectrum, so maybe it would work? If not, I used to have red hair as a kid, and I really like that color as well, picture attached. My mom hennas her hair, but she has dark hair, so she has no advice for me on making it a strawberry blond. But I really want to do it, so any advice from people who know how to do henna would be appreciated!

According to Henna Sooq, mixing Cassia Obovata (nuetral henna) with regular henna will get you a strawberry blonde result.
4a/b Texlaxed hair w/ highlights. Medium texture & high porosity.

HG's: CJ Daily Fix, Bobeam Cheris Hibiscus shampoo bar, KC Spiral Spritz, Knot Today, CJ Rehab, KBB LL Hair Mask, Cassia, KCCC, oil blend of Avocado, Camellia, Jojoba, & Meadowfoam oils

I'm going to try that, hopefully I'll like what it does to my hair.
And hennasooq's products all look really good with no unnatural ingredients, yay.
I think my hair is 3a/3b, low/normal porosity

So far this summer, loving Oyin Handmade! Particularly Greg Juice and Hair Dew
Have you tried your henna yet? I'm excited to see the results. I was a henna user for years and I love to see the different colors it can make. My favorite hair color in the world is strawberry blonde, but I have to wait till I'm gray before I can get that color, .

In your pictures, your hair looks almost strawberry blonde, so henna will definitely give you the "strawberry" part. Henna + Cassia should give you the strawberry and the blonde.

Just, please, be careful with your sensitive curly hair. Many henna recipes specify using lemon juice to release the dye. This works beautifully, but it can be extremely damaging. One application with lemon juice should be fine, but after that you may want to use other releasers! Too much henna, even body-art quality henna, can kill some curl patterns. My sister permed her hair when she was using henna, in order to get curl back, and the perm wouldn't take!

I used to like the texture of henna because it worked like a straightener after a few uses, but now that I want to be curly (for the first time in my life) I'm on a search for something else to use.

For color, there's nothing like henna, though. It gives hair colors that are more vivid and shiny and natural-looking than any other type of coloring, hands down.

I really want to see your hair!

If you haven't seen it, look up Henna For Hair, and you'll get a very informative website.

FYI - Cassia is known as "neutral" henna, but it can become golden blonde on some hair. I used it alone once, and it made my few grays glowing blonde. Mehandi has fabulous quality hennas, and the articles on the site are written by a woman who actually has a PhD in henna. Lots of fascinating info. hth
