Okay so my hair is naturally a very dark brown but I don't really like how it looks against my skin tone so I've been using a semi permanent dye to color it black for about a year or so. I want to just use a black permanent dye so I wouldn't have to constantly color my entire head.

Is this fine if all the semi permanent dye hasn't washed out?

Should I wait for it to wash out completely before switching to the permanent?

Should I forget this all together and keep going with the semi permanent dyes?
