Pink!!!

Okay so i have wanted pink hair forever..I used to have link but that was the result of faded purple. I loved it but my job didn't so much (surprise surprise) and I had to due it back..
...a few years later I have loooong black hair and would really love to go back to a fushia colour, I'm just not sure how to do this without loosing my length and my curls.
- I was thinking colour b4 (kinda like colour oops) and hopefully I will get a reddish colour from this
- then a ginger dye over it (I can totally live with ginger it suits me)
- and finally a pink over the top

Of Course there would be deep coconut oilings and PTs inbetween - does this sound that damaging?
Mixture of 2c/3a curls, fine to med texture

PROTEIN LOVER!!!

Wishing my hair would be more like this ------>
and less like this --------->
I saw the most beautiful fuschia pink hair on someone last weekend. I wanted to stop her in her tracks and ask her what she used, but I was afraid she'd think I was a stalker or something. Her hair was so shiny, and pure in color...just gorgeous. My guess is that her natural hair color (or the color beneath the pink, natural or not) was a shade of dark blonde, and her hair was very healthy and wavy. If your hair is very dark you may have to lighten it before adding the pink. Based on your avatar, I'd give it a try before lightening, though, because your hair looks like a dark blonde to me. Manic Panic (at Sally's) has a Cotton Candy Pink, and N Rage has a Bubble Gum Pink.

Yeah definitely have to bleach it out if you have dark hair...I don't know any other way around it, but hey it works for really vibrant colors! Just take extra care of it and you should be good.
