Default Redken Shades EQ

I have decided to try to apply this color at home. I have read lots of your posts and I think I can do this myself.
I need help understanding the formula used on my hair.
It is: EQ3NB=3N What does the 3N stand for?

Also, if I want to go a shade lighter what would that be?

Thank you so much

Hi 3N means its a natural shade meanin it has no warm or ash tones. A shade lighter than a 3 is a 4. a level 3 is the darkest brown.

hope i helped
