If you use permanent hair color, what shampoo do you use?

If you color your hair with a permanent hair color, like Clairol or L'oreal, do you use a sulfate shampoo afterward?

I use L'oreal Permanent Hair Color and I wash it out with a sulfate shampoo (L'oreal - drugstore stuff). I would prefer not to use a sulfate shampoo, but I am concerned that I wouldn't get all the dye out that way.

I have Deva LoPoo, and I wonder whether that would be sufficient to get the dye out. If you are CG or modified CG and you use permanent hair dye, what do you use for shampoo after you dye your hair at home?
2/c and some 3A. Modified CG.
Protein sensitive
Highly porous. Color over grey.
Best 1st day method: Super Soaker
Conditioners: Curl Junkie Beauticurls Strengthening Conditioner,
Deep condish: Curl Junkie Curl Rehab
Stylers: Mix Curls in a Bottle into everything for shine. Terrible pj
Sometimes try roller sets - classic glamor but I prefer my curls.

I've always used permanent color; right now I use Naturtint. Since I went CG, I haven't used sulfate shampoo at all. I've co-washed and used lo-poo after coloring with no problems, but lately Naturtint has been including a sulfate-free shampoo in the box with the color and I've been using that.

3a - fine, colored hair w/normal porosity (loves protein!)
CG since March 2010
Co-Wash: V05, Suave or Cure Care
Low Poo: Desert Essence
Condish: GVP Balm, CJ Beauticurls Strengthening
Leave-In:
Cure Care, KCKT
Styler: SS FHG, Re-Coil, LALSG, BRHG

You actually don't even have to shampoo. Just rinse it until the water runs clear and you don't feel anymore of the color in your hair. Just conditioning it is sufficient enough. If you feel that you have to shampoo it, you can definitely use a sulfate free shampoo.
Thanks very much for responding!

Wendi.wendy it's very interesting that Naturtint is now including a sulfate free shampoo with their dye.

Tiffanynichols, I am kind of scared of residual dye being absorbed through my scalp so I think I'll just use a sulfate free shampoo.

I really appreciate the responses because when I use a heavy-duty shampoo that contains sulfates, it definitely gets rid of the dye but it wrecks my curls. Tangles galore. Thanks again for reassuring me.
