Really frustrated with Robert Craig shipping

So two weeks ago yesterday, I placed a big order with Robert Craig haircolor, and supposedly it was shipped out on Tuesday, May 29. My order still hasn't shown up -- and I paid close to $12 for shipping on it (with no tracking info). When I contacted their Customer Service, they said that parcel post takes longer and to contact them if it hasn't shown up on Monday, which will be almost two weeks since it was sent. Is this typical of their shipping speed? I feel like I could have walked to the company myself and picked it up as this speed!

I'm also a little frustrated with their CS in general; they thought they were out of the mixer for the color, but it turns out that they found one, and I had to go back and forth with them about my order.

Sorry to vent -- I'm just feeling awfully frustrated! My gray roots are really bad, and I've never had anything take this long to arrive. Grrr!

I am totally surprised to hear that about their CS or shipping. Usually their CS is top notch and wonderful. I usually ship priority, but it still shouldn't take that long. Keep calling them if you don't get it soon.

On the other hand, I have ordered several things online lately, from different sites, and they all seem to be held up in the postal system.

Thanks, CurliLocks! I think I just needed to vent.

I'm really, really hoping that it's here tomorrow. I had wanted to do my hair over the weekend instead of on a weeknight, but I'll probably do it as soon as it arrives. My grays are coming through so badly that I'm embarrassed to wear my hair pulled back!

Did you get it yet? I hope you got it and colored already.

I know the feeling of trying to hide the gray between colorings.

Yes, it finally showed up on Monday, but I haven't had had time to do my hair yet since I've had some long days at work. I'm going to try to do it this afternoon! Fingers crossed that it goes smoothly!

Thanks so much for all your help, CurliLocks! I just finished coloring it, and really like how it turned out! Karin from RC had recommended a mix of Light Chestnut Brown and Med. Mahogany; I ended up doing a 1/2:1/2 mixture since I wanted more red. Since my hair is dark brown, I know that RC Color won't lighten it to as light of a red as I'd like, but it's more how I've been wanting it -- my stylist wasn't quite getting it as red as I wanted.

I was nervous doing it, but it was pretty easy! Thank you again for all your help on previous threads! You gave me the courage to try it out!

OK, this one isn't that great since it's in the grey morning light inside our house. I'll have my DH take one outside later today so the color shows up better. I really like how it turned out!

Sorry that the picture is sideways! I'm not sure how to fix that!
