Any experience with Nupur Henna brand?
Has anyone previously used Nupur(the one with 9 herbs) or Dulhan Henna?
I'm asking because I've never colored my hair before and want to do it the natural way but I'm worried that these might be compound hennas and I don't want any damage.:disgust: Also, can I add hibiscus tea to henna to boost red tones? I have dark brown hair( almost black indoors but really light brown in the sun) thanks in advance :love5: |
I want red tones, too. I heard about tea rinses with hibiscus, rooibos, rosehip, and even green tea! There's also things like paprika, beet juice, and carrot juice. Anyways, what color is your hair? Most work better with lighter hair. Tell me what works for you, ok? I wanna try too!

I've heard many good things about those too!
i recently ordered rooibos tea so I might try a mix of rooibos and hibiscus tea  Anyways, my hair is dark brown indoors but pretty light out in the sun, so hopefully it looks good (: I'll post back once I get it. What color is your hair by the way? :D |
I LOVE Nupur henna! It's the only strengthening treatment I use on my protein-sensitive hair. It's much more moisturizing than regular henna. It colors hair as well, but since my hair is so dark I don't know if it colors as richly as pure henna on its lonesome.
Yes, you can add hibiscus, rose hips, rooibos, or any other reddish hued tea to intensify the color, however if your hair is very dark you may only end up with highlights in the sun. You can try doing multiple treatments about two weeks apart from one another to intensify the color. Sent from my HUAWEI-M860 using CurlTalk App |
Ehh I have black hair, so I don't think it would work.. I've tried lemon, and it did work, and made some of my hair lighter, sadly, into light brown when I was hoping for more red.. Because I heard it could turn dark hair either brown or usually red or orange..

I have the napur with 9 herbs. I've been afraid to use it because I used natural instincts, the one that's supposed to rinse out after 24 washes, in my hair in September. I'm wondering if I can use this henna over that? Any idea?

I use Dulhan henna and find it to be the absolute best I've ever used. The colour is so rich and radiant!
If it is made for body art, you are fine. Do you have a picture of the package you could post? |
I'll take a picture when I get a chance. I don't know if it's BAQ. It just says 100% natural or something. I've had it for a couple months but I'm afraid to use it.
