long_n_curly

I am thinking about blending my highlights with my natural color
which would involve going from a light brown to a light/med blonde
do I need a hi lift or just a very light blonde shade? Tried box color before(loreal excellence) and my hair was light enough but yellowy could that be because I needed to use a hi lift? Any help would be great thanks
