Shampoo/Conditioner for Colored Curls
Hello,
For everyone who has bleached and dyed their curls, what shampoo/conditioner do you use/suggest to keep your curls beautiful while retaining the color? (A similar post was crossposted to the CG subforum.) |
I'm still trying to find the best products for that too, but I've just been using a sulfate free shampoo.. No particular kind right now but I wanna get the L'Oréal color sulfate free poo soon. And conditioner wise, I use the healthy sexy hair soy milk conditioner plus whatever of my other products i want to use.
Mostly I've heard just staying away from stripping sulfate poos and really hot water helps keep color vibrant. Sent from my SPH-L710 using CurlTalk App |
Also, what color did you dye your hair? Because certain brands have specific color lines to keep it nice.

I don't use shampoo at all, I only use co-wash. The co-wash I use is a very cheap, silicone-free conditioner, but you can't buy it in the States (I live in the Netherlands). If you want to use shampoo anyway, you can look for a low-poo, like jessicurl gentle lather.
For conditioners, curl junkie conditioners are my favorites (especially curl junkie rehab and repair me! are in my opinion very good for dyed hair). |
